What we’re looking for

You may submit a rough draft, a partial draft, or a short pitch (a paragraph or two summarizing your argument and why it matters to our readers) paired with an outline. The more complete your submission is, the better feedback we can give you. Keep in mind that we only accept original content—we do not publish anything that’s been published elsewhere (including on your blog).

What we publish

We publish articles of anywhere between 600-2,500 words, subject complexity varies. Average is 1,500 words. Articles feature custom illustrations. Tone ranges from casual to structured. All explore current our website topics.

How to submit (and what happens next)

Submit your material via email. We recommend Google documents for easy feedback and guidance from editors. Alternatively, use a plaintext file, Markdown file, or an HTML document link. Avoid sending ZIP files unless requested.

What you get after article published

You will receive compensation based on the quality of articles. Payment ranges from $2 to $5 and is only processed through PayPal (PayPal account required for payment receipt).
